BAX/BAK Macropores facilitate Mitochondrial Herniation
Description
This project presents a 3D model of a novel method of mitochondrial herniation, providing a clear visual representation of the process. In this model, proteins and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) are intentionally not to scale; their exaggerated sizes serve to enhance visibility and understanding of their roles in comparison to the herniation itself. This approach allows for a more intuitive grasp of the interactions and dynamics involved in mitochondrial herniation, facilitating a deeper exploration of its implications in cellular function and health.
